I don't know about how you feel about Politics, but one has to question the timing of this new Gay Marriage Ban. Personally, this seems like a great trick in the Republican Playbook that Al Franken has dubbed, the "Fear, smears, and queers" play. In this play Republicans first insight fear through the heart of Americans. Then they smear their adversaries, then for the icing they attack queers.
It doesn't take an Historian to see that America has been tricked by this campaign before. The question will be, will it work this time. From what I've seen recently from the American people, it just might work.
